The complex was completed in November 2004 and is
10
minutes drive from Torrevieja town centre, marina, cinema, bowling,
etc. 2 km to beach - 5 minutes drive or 30 minutes walk. 6 km to golf
courses at Villamartin. 10 minutes drive from Torrevieja town centre.
There is an hourly bus service to the beach during July and August - ideal if you
don't want to hire a car.

There are many blue flag beaches and superb golf courses nearby. Alicante airport is under one hour away and Murcia airport only
20 minutes away, both of which receive flights from low cost airlines from the UK. Taxis can be arranged but to avail yourself of the amenities of the Surrounding area, car hire is recommended. Torrevieja is not a 'package holiday' resort, but mainly caters for the Spanish holiday makers and people who own or rent property in the area. So if you are tired of package holidays, it is a lovely location.

Playa Flamenca is conveniently situated
on the Orihuela Costa close to La Zenia Beach. There are many Blue Flag beaches and coves, shops, bars and restaurants all within a few minutes drive. The area is renowned for its large saltwater lagoons, home to wildlife including Flamingos, which along with the average of 320 sunny days a year help it to be one of the healthiest places to live in the world. In Torrevieja itself you’ll find a harbour side and stylish promenade with an evening street market. There’s an abundance of bars, restaurants and shops. An old fashioned fun fair operates on the front in summer. The town also boasts a bowling alley, multiplex cinema, Water Park and go-karting in the summer.
